How points are earned

Qualifying:

5 Points awarded per race for every driver for entering each event

#1 qualifier: 10 points, #2 qual. 9 points, #3 qual. 8 points, #4 qual. 7 points, #5 qual. 6 points, #6 qual. 5 points, #7 qual. 4 points, #8 qual. 3 points, #9 through 16 qual. 2 points, all other qualifiers 1 point.

All non-qualifers of the 8.70 minimum bump receive the 5 entering points for the event only.

Eliminations:

In the event of a rain out where there are no qualifying passes made all those in attendance will be awarded 10 points. If a race has had qualifying attempts and gets rained out that event will be completed on the Saturday of the next event and only those who were in attendance at the rain out will be eligible for the re-scheduled event
